This dust collector has two modes of operation, the first: when the dust collector flap is open, the bees pass through the hive bypassing the dust collector grille, ie. above the grate, the second: when the flap is raised, the bees enter the hive through the pollen grating, the filament falls into the pollen collecting vessel, which has slots for ventilation and accommodates 1.1 kg of pollen.
The big advantage of this dust collector is that the pollen will not get wet in the rain and will not become dewy, as it is in a special tray and is completely protected from rain drops, respectively, there is no need to collect the pollen every day.
